My Easter weekend sewing, mojo has been missing of late. No excuses other than cold weather and painful hands! Keep dropping stuff like wonder clips, needles, pins etc!!
Then, Sheila had a new sewing hold all, as did Pip. Well I had to be in on it.
The Bionic Gear Bag is just amazing! Designed by Sally Thompson aka RipStitcher, it hold loads of stuff! Four zip pockets with pockets in between.
Bits and pieces for the Patchwork of the Crosses blocks ready to go!
Fabric scraps used. This was a fun project. I'll make a couple more!
Next project is Leigh Anne's silk quilt. I've put off doing it for so long due to feelings of terror!! Me.........?? sew silk??
Wait a minute..... I really must tidy and rearrange furniture in the sewing room before I start.
Happy to see that you did some sewing, love your bag, such lovely bright colours, they are such fun to make.
ReplyDeleteHappy that i was able to inspire you and help you find your sewing Mojo again.. I love your fabric choices... always the hardest part i feel.
ReplyDeleteThat really is a super bionic bag! Such a fun mix of fabrics, and colourful zips. It's funny how some projects will have you tidying the furniture, then once you start it you wont want to do any housework until it's done.
ReplyDeleteI like your blog very much.
